Persona Posters

Print/Internal comms
I was tasked with turning a mountain of user data into a set of living, breathing "Personas". These weren't just for show—they were designed to help Product Owners run workshops and keep real human needs at the centre of every feature we built.

The Challenge
The data was great, but it was dense. My job was to take these complex categories and make them scannable, engaging, and "physical"—we needed posters, flyers, and even bookmarks that people would actually want to look at.
The Process
I started in Figma, playing with visual metaphors to represent different customer types. I worked closely with stakeholders to make sure the "vibe" of each persona felt right.
Once we nailed the look, I built out a repeatable system. I eventually moved the project into InDesign to make sure everything was pixel-perfect and print-ready (crop marks and all).
The Solution
I gave each persona a distinct identity through photography and color coding, making it easy to tell them apart at a glance. We ended up with a suite of materials that turned dry data into a visual story.
The Impact
• Product teams now have a physical "seat at the table" for users during brainstorms.
• Complex behaviours became easy to understand in seconds.
• A unified set of materials used across multiple departments.

Key Learning
Good hierarchy is a lifesaver. When you’re dealing with that much info, you have to be ruthless about what stays and what goes.
